Our Why
Billy’s Way Home was founded in memory of Billy, a deeply loved father, son, brother, uncle and friend whose life and struggles opened our eyes to the realities many people face on the streets. After losing Billy in 2021, we chose to turn grief into purpose by helping others who are too often unseen, misunderstood, or forgotten.
What began with one person showing up with food and compassion has grown into a community of volunteers dedicated to building trust, restoring dignity, and creating real human connection. At Billy’s Way Home, we believe that every person deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and hope—and that sometimes simply showing up consistently can change a life.
